Intel® Innovation in Education: Initiatives & Trends

ABSTRACT: Intel is committed to playing a positive role in preparing our youth for the demands of tomorrow. An introduction of Intel’s Innovation in Education initiative, its role in education worldwide, and plans for the future of teaching with technology. Intel’s education programs include Intel Teach to the Future, through which 1.7 million teachers have been trained worldwide. This program focuses on project-based learning, essential questions, and inquiry-based learning methods as well as on-line learning. Working with educators from around the world, Intel is preparing today's young people to flourish in the knowledge-based economy of the 21st century. Our goal is to help students develop the higher-level thinking skills they need to realize their full potential. The Intel® Innovation in Education initiative is a long-term, sustained effort designed to Increase the effective and innovative use of technology in teaching and learning.
